REUNION 2004

 The
Former Khmer Navy Reunion 2004, RU 2004, was celebrated on July 24 and 25,
2004, in Dallas Texas, USA. Over 170 people from several states in
the US, from France, and from Cambodia participated in the event. RU
2004 began with a banquet (Grand Event) on July 24, and concluded with a
picnic on July 25.
Some folks who arrived earlier kicked off their celebration (Pre-RU) on Friday July 23. They celebrated in smaller groups at different places throughout the Dallas area. There were also a number of Post-RUs here and there, which lasted several days after. The Grand Event was superb and intimate, reminding us of our Khmer Navy's esprit de corps. The picnic was phenomenal, as the weather fully cooperated with a pleasantly cool day; it was unusual for July in Dallas. We are the Khmer Navy! |
